AUTOMOBILE DEALER FRANCHISE EXPERIENCE:
For almost a decade, Bonnie worked with a leading firm on automobile dealer franchise matters representing the top dealerships in the State of New Jersey. This work involved litigation in various forums such as the State and Federal Court systems and the Office of Administrative Law, as well as arbitration and mediation throughout the country with dealerships and automobile manufacturers.
GENERAL LITIGATION EXPERIENCE:
Bonnie has experience in a broad range of complex, commercial litigation files, from the franchise litigation to business/contractual disputes, emergent applications and appeals, family law/matrimonial cases, pre-nuptial agreements, employment agreements, discrimination, hostile work environment claims and general commercial litigation. Bonnie worked for several years on the leading case on prenuptial agreements in New Jersey.
In addition, since forming her own law firm, Bonnie has successfully settled and/or tried cases involving employment discrimination, insurance coverage issues, contract disputes, consumer and construction fraud cases and most recently Chancery Division matters relating to successfully saving a decades-old non-profit organization from dissolution.
Reported Case: Bonnie was lead counsel on the matter of Parks v. Commerce Bank, 377 N.J. Super. 378 (App. Div. 2005). She successfully obtained a Preliminary injunction enjoining three banks from dishonoring certain cashier’s checks and wire transfers totaling $384,597. The decision was upheld on appeal and is precedential caselaw today.
